Scope
This policy describes how eligible account owners may request and complete deletion of their Luntive account and associated business workspace. It explains the current self-service deletion workflow, what information is generally covered, what records may remain, and the limitations of the current process.
Imran Bhuiyan, an individual operator in New York, operates Luntive.
Account and business workspace
An Account is an individual user's authentication and access identity. A Business workspace is the business context that can contain business settings, clients, leads, appointments, communications, and related information. Initiating account deletion also initiates deletion of the associated eligible business workspace and its data.
Who may request account deletion
Eligible account owners may initiate self-service account deletion through the Luntive application. The requesting user must be authenticated and verified as the account owner. Account ownership is confirmed during the deletion workflow before any deletion proceeds.
Self-service deletion workflow
The current deletion process:
- The authenticated account owner initiates a deletion request through account settings.
- Identity and account ownership are verified as part of the request.
- A deletion verification code is sent to the account owner's confirmed email address.
- The account owner must enter the verification code to continue.
- Before final deletion is completed, the account owner is offered an opportunity to export eligible business and client data.
- Final deletion requires an explicit confirmation from the account owner.
- Upon completion, eligible tenant and workspace data is deleted.
Export opportunity
Luntive provides an opportunity to download eligible business and client data before deletion is completed. Account owners who want to retain a copy of their data should use the export option before confirming deletion. Luntive does not guarantee the completeness of the export or that every data category is included.
Verification requirements
Identity and account ownership are verified before deletion proceeds. A verification code is sent to the account owner's registered email address. The verification step confirms authorized intent and helps prevent unauthorized deletion requests.
Irreversible after completion
Deletion is irreversible once the deletion workflow is completed and confirmed. Luntive will not restore or recover deleted account or workspace data following a completed deletion.
A former Customer who later creates a new Luntive account starts from the beginning as a new customer. Previously deleted workspace configuration, client information, and business data are not available to a new account. Luntive does not provide a mechanism to reconnect or recover a deleted workspace.
What deletion covers
Deletion is intended to remove eligible tenant and workspace data associated with the deleted account. The specific result depends on the records involved. Some records cascade automatically, some require explicit cleanup, and others may not be removed as described in the sections below.
Records that may remain
Certain limited records may be retained following a completed deletion, including where required or permitted by applicable law or Luntive's legitimate interests:
- Deletion receipts and deletion evidence records.
- Legal, regulatory, and compliance records.
- Security, integrity, audit, and fraud-prevention records.
- Billing-related identifiers and transaction records where applicable.
- Records necessary to resolve disputes or enforce applicable agreements.
No fixed retention period has been adopted for all categories of records that may remain after deletion. Luntive does not promise that all records are deleted immediately or that all categories follow the same deletion behavior.
Shared-user limitations
A user account that is shared across more than one business workspace is not deleted as part of any single workspace deletion. Shared user identities are preserved where they remain associated with another active workspace. Account deletion does not remove user access from other workspaces the user is associated with.
Third-party and provider limitations
Luntive's deletion workflow applies to data held in the Luntive application. Luntive does not promise immediate, complete, or time-defined deletion of information held by third-party service providers, including Supabase, Retell, Stripe, Google, Resend, and other current providers. Each provider operates under its own data-retention configurations and agreements.
For example: when a Stripe subscription is canceled as part of deletion, Stripe retains its own billing records, customer identifiers, invoices, and transaction history in accordance with Stripe's practices. When Retell inbound calling is suspended as part of deletion, Retell retains call recordings, transcripts, and call data on its own infrastructure. When Google Calendar access is revoked as part of deletion, Google retains calendar events and account information in accordance with Google's practices. Luntive does not control these provider-held records.
Backups
Deletion from active application storage does not guarantee immediate or complete removal from backup systems or disaster-recovery infrastructure. Provider-side backup retention and deletion behavior are not fully verified across all configurations.
Privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law applicable to your situation, you may have rights regarding personal information about you.
For example, California law may provide eligible consumers with rights to request deletion of certain personal information. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR provide a right to erasure of personal information in certain circumstances.
Luntive will evaluate and respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable law, subject to permitted exceptions and retention obligations. Applicable law may permit Luntive to retain certain information for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, audit, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes. Rights depend on applicable law and may not apply to all information or all requestors.
Luntive does not claim to provide a completed automated privacy-rights portal or promise a statutory response deadline beyond what applicable law requires.
Changes to this policy
Luntive may update this policy as the deletion workflow, applicable law, or related practices develop. Future versions will identify their publication status, effective date, and last-updated date.
